MS Sensor 3.0
Multi-Sensor Process Analysis Software for the Real-Time Gas Analyzer (RTGA)
Overview
The MS Sensor software is designed to allow simple and flexible acquisition
and display of real-time process data using the Agilent Technologies 5975 MSD
and other kinds of instruments and sensors like pressure and flow meters.

Summary of Features
- Enables the Agilent Technologies
5975 MSD to be used for
continuous process analysis.
- Software architecture allows real-time data to be acquired
from multiple kinds of instruments and sensors.
- User-defined formulas can be defined and applied to
instrument signal data in real time. This allows ratio, normalization,
and other calculations to be performed and displayed in real time.
- A linear calibration function can easily be generated for
Signals.
- Up to 6 trend plot windows can be used to display graphical
results in real time.
- A real-time data grid displays numeric results in real time
- Results are logged to comma-delimited (CSV) text files that
can be easily imported into spreadsheets and other data analysis or modeling
applications.
- An event log allows logging of user notes, system messages,
and error and warning alerts.
- A Method Wizard allows users to quickly and easily create
new methods.
Additional Information
System Requirements
The MS Sensor software requires the following:
- A minimum 450 MHz Pentium computer with at least 128 MB of system memory.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 applied.
- The Agilent Technologies MSD ChemStation G1701DA, Version D.00.00 or later
in order for the software to acquire data from an Agilent Technologies 5975
MSD.
Quotation and Purchasing Information
The MS Sensor software is sold as part of the Diablo 5000A Real-Time Gas Analyzer. It can also be purchased as
part of an upgrade package for existing Agilent 5973N, 5973 Inert, and 5975 Mass Spectrometers.
